Credit Policy
Commercial Customers / Business Entities
New customers
New business customers will generally be extended a credit limit of $1,000.00, without the requirement of an account application. Any customer placing an order greater than $1,000.00 must pre-pay for the work or submit an account application to be reviewed and approved by the Credit Department before the job will be released for production. Personal guarantees from the owners are required for commercial accounts, unless otherwise approved by the Credit Department. Customers who need work produced before credit can be reviewed/approved must pre-pay until time allows for a credit limit to be established.
If a customer is placing orders through an advertising agency, the Credit Department may require an application from both the customer and the agency.
Established customers
Credit limits may be adjusted at the discretion of the Credit Department as a customer's purchasing history changes over time. The Credit Department reserves the right to reduce the amount of credit extended and/or require an account application and personal guaranty for any customer at any time.
Delinquent accounts may be placed on a credit hold if they have debt greater than 90 days old. In such an event, the Sales Rep and Manager will be notified. No new work can be placed until the account is current or a payment plan has been accepted by the Credit Department. Accounts that continually become delinquent are subject to permanent credit hold and will be required to pay in advance of all work being placed going forward.
Non-Business Customers (Individuals / Private Parties)
Non-business parties must pay in advance for any orders placed. An authorized credit card payment or check in hand is required before an order will be released for production. Exceptions may be made upon approval of the Credit Department for parties with a substantial history of being billed and having no delinquency issues. A business owner placing an ad in his or her personal name will be considered a non-business customer for purposes of this Credit Policy.
General
Certain high-risk customers — including but not limited to foreign companies, "going out of business," fireworks, and political-related customers — may be required to pay in advance at the discretion of the Credit Department, even if they are an established customer with prior purchasing history.
Any account (commercial or private) for which we receive a credit card chargeback or returned check will immediately be placed on hold. New orders for any such account shall not be entered until the chargeback / check issue has been resolved.
